Concept Dental Training Centre

Dedicated to continuing professional development within the dental community of Western Australia, the Concept Dental Training Centre will offer a broad range of short intensive course modules with provision for specialised “hands-on” tutoring in an intimate teaching environment. A range of individual programs will be offered throughout the year by presenters and facilitators well experienced and highly regarded within their fields of expertise.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues from the Dental Industry for their valued input, support and sponsorship of selected courses, which will be fully acknowledged as each program is finalized.

Our facilities are also available to hire for external courses and meetings with full access to our modern restorative equipment and clinical simulators. Please note there is no provision for expendables. Further details are available on application.

For practical “hands-on” courses, our custom-designed Clinical Area will comfortably accommodate 8 to10 participants plus one demonstrator and is equipped with:

• Phantom-head simulators with Frasaco models
• Triplex Syringe
• NSK high and low speed hand pieces
• Video and LCD Screen for practical demonstrations
• Personal protection equipment

Our Conference Room facilities include:

• AV facilities including projection screen and data projector
• Laptop (Windows XP/Microsoft Office 2007)
• Internet Connection
• DVD Recorder
• Overhead Projector for Transparencies
• Large Whiteboard.
• Seating for 12-14 people with Conference Tables
• Seating arrangements can be adjusted to suit individual needs for lecture-style presentations.

Additional Available Facilities:

• Separate Entrance and Reception
• Restroom
• Fully equipped Kitchenette including sink, Oven/Stove, Microwave and Fridge/Freezer
• Table for display purposes (1500mm x 400mm)
• Additional space adjacent to the Conference Room for promotional material

Lecture/Workshop Programs for 2009

Important Registration Information:

1. All sessions will be 8am – 5pm Friday and/or Saturday with Lectures in the morning and “hands-on” workshops during the afternoon, unless otherwise indicated. Clinical materials and personal protection equipment will be provided. However, in the event of specialized requirements, i.e. loupes, prescription safety glasses, non-latex gloves: we would ask that you provide your own.
2. Delegate places are limited and will be confirmed on receipt of full payment. Should a course be over- subscribed, your name will be added to a waiting list for the next available date.
3. We accept payment by Bank Transfer, Visa, MasterCard, cheque, money order or bank cheque. All fees are per person, inclusive of GST, per course.
4. A full refund will be given for cancellations made at least 4 weeks prior to a program with a 50 per cent refund given for cancellations within the 2 to 4 week period. No refund will be given for cancellations made within 2 weeks of a course date. Notification must be received by fax or email.
5. Every care is taken to ensure that our program of events is presented as advertised. However, we reserve the right to cancel, postpone or amend a program should circumstances occur beyond our control. Delegates will be notified of such changes and refunded appropriately or can request that the fee is transferred as part/full payment towards a future course. Please note that Concept Dental will not accept any responsibility for travel and accommodation or other extraneous costs incurred due to cancellations.

Venue Hire Tariff

Important Venue Hire Information:

1. Hire rates are inclusive of GST. We accept payment by Bank Transfer, Visa, MasterCard, cheque, money order or bank cheque following issue of our invoice.
2. Arrangements will be made for a member of Concept Dental staff to assist in the opening of premises and orientation of the Training Centre on the day of your program.
3. Provision of Clinical and Admin support on the day of your program is available by prior arrangement. Fees available upon application.
4. A full refund will be given for cancellations made at least 6 weeks prior to your event with a 50 per cent refund given for cancellations within the 3 to 6 week period. No refund will be given for cancellations made within 3 weeks of your event date. Notification must be received by fax or email.

The Concept Dental premises are located in the Business Centre of Midland with access by car from either the Great Eastern Highway or Great Northern Highway, and public transport (Train/Bus) within 5 minutes walking distance (map).
